Kids BJJ Programme

Thursday: 5.00pm – 6.00pm
Saturday: 10.00am – 11.00am

MMA Cadets

Wednesday: 5.00pm – 6.00pm
Saturday: 1.00pm – 2.00pm

Our MMA kids program is mainly made up of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, they will learn how to do takedowns, positions, submissions, to fall properly. But we also teach the kids the basics of Muay Thai kick boxing and boxing.

Bushido Kids Kickboxing:

Tuesday: 5.00pm – 6.00pm
Saturday: 11.00am – 12.00pm

These classes provide a solid foundation for children to build on, implementing key character development skills such as self-discipline, awareness, improved focus, co-operation & motivation.

This Kickboxing club is welcoming to children between the age of 8 onwards, we offer a safe, fun and friendly training environment to help your child develop self confidence, fitness and respect to others.

The lessons focus on such things as, courtesy, respect, discipline, safety skills, and we also use special teaching techniques and skills drills to improve co-ordination, balance and focus.

Technique wise lessons cover:

Basics – Kickboxing movements are broken down into simple easy to learn movements e.g. blocks, strikes and kicks.

Combinations – This is where basic movements are stringed together, helps concentration levels and develops fluidity of movement.

Pad Work – This is where the child strikes pads with the techniques learnt. This enables the child to feel resistance and allows them to perfect their technique.

Sparring – This is where the child will learn distance, speed and timing when practising attacking and defending.

Each lesson begins with warm up exercises consisting of a mix of stretching exercises which improves flexibility and cardio exercise which works the heart and other muscles. This is done in a fun and enjoyable way integrating games into the warm ups

Kid’s Boxing Club:


Designed to teach your child basic boxing skills; this class also incorporates a good cardio workout (suitable for their age) and promotes teamwork by the use of “relay exercises” and 2 person drills. Your kids will have great fun whilst learning boxing!
